Introduction

This learning guide was written by Tony Montes, a client and programme director at Ashridge. It is one of a series produced by the Learning Resource Centre. Where to start

If you have less than an hour, read the overview section. This will provide a good definition of the topic as well as presenting readers with key thoughts about the current realities that exist; concepts and priorities; approaches to the management of diversity, diversity and organisational effectiveness, and diversity and the business case for equity. If you have longer read the author's article The Diversity Challenge and the book review of Ron Johnson's and David Redmond's Diversity incorporated.
